STANLEY Primary School could reopen if its future viability could be assured.
The Department of Education would like to make a decision on the future of the school and locals Dannielle Bell and Whitney Iaria have offered to facilitate a community conversation to assess the viability of re-opening the school which was closed six years ago.
A meeting was held on Tuesday, July 23 with the Department of Education at the Stanley Hall to discuss the future of the school and gave the community a month to come up with a viable plan.
