Local tradition sets the scene for celebrating International Women’s Day

A TRADITIONAL CWA get together to mark International Women’s Day took place in the Beechworth Town Hall Gardens on Saturday.

A group of members joined in the annual day held on 8 March around the world to celebrate social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women with this year’s theme “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”
