A MONUMENTAL effort has seen Beechworth win its second game of the season, downing long-time rivals Yackandandah by 11 points.
A four-goal to two first term from the Bushrangers had the Roos on the back foot, but Yackandandah came storming back into the contest with a five-goal to three second term to level the scores at half time.
The Bushrangers knew they needed to respond and with a four goal third term were able to set up the win as they took a 22-point lead into the final change.
