We have been told time and time again the Indigo Shire Council is dedicated to preserving the priceless and irreplaceable history of Beechworth.
If that is so will the council be vigorously opposing the development of the land around the Old Beechworth Gaol into a housing estate as described in the (Heritage Victoria permit application P36077).
