Beechworth certainly looks bright and welcoming with all the street flags flying.
Not quite sure what for but it does brighten the town up.
But one thing.
Amongst all the flags - all the colour… not one Australian flag.
Not one!
Still, a welcome distraction from other features of our streetscape like: pigeon poo, dirty footpaths, out of place drinking fountain, unacceptable public toilet facilities ...
