BEECHWORTH jumped out to a six-goal quarter time lead over Chiltern, but the Swans quickly slowly but surely worked their way back into the game to take down the Bushrangers at home.
The Swans trailed 15-9 at quarter time, 27-21 at half time and 37-34 at three quarter time before a massive 16-7 final term saw Chiltern fly past Beechworth for a six-goal 50-44 win.
Darcy O’Neill (33 goals) and Leah Elliott (15 goals) pushed the Swans in the second half, while Isabelle Stewart was among the Swans’ best players through the midcourt.
