JESSICA Hercott was born in the Victorian town of Boort and grew up not far away in Pyramid Hill.
She left little Pyramid Hill for Bendigo at 16 years old hoping to get the right school subjects to become a vet but then moved again to Hobart for year 12 where Jessica fell in love with the outdoors.
In Tassie she gained raft-guiding qualifications setting a career in outdoor guiding in motion.
